Membership
The Australian Holistic Healers and Counsellors Association (AHHCA) welcomes members trained in one or more modalities that facilitate whole person focused holistic health and wellbeing.
How do I know which membership level I should choose?
- You are currently studying holistic healing and/or counselling and wish to be mentored by a quality professional association = Student Membership
- You are/want to practice and have undertaken at least 100 hours of training (you also need to obtain professional indemnity insurance) = Full Membership
- You are/want to practice and have undertaken at least 250 hours of training (you also need to have a First Aid qualification and obtain professional indemnity insurance) = Clinical Membership
- We are a health / wellness centre or other health and wellness business (with insurance) and want to ally ourselves with the AHHCA = Affiliated Organisation
- You are an individual, you align yourself with our aims and objectives, and want to be our friend and stay in the loop = Associated Membership
- You are already an AHHCA member and want to start teaching (you need to have a government accredited teaching qualification OR you have a license or certificate from the governing body, lineage or owner of the copyright of a modality to say that they are authorized to teach that modality, plus have a First Aid Certificate if you are teaching LIVE) = Approved Trainer
- You are already an AHHCA Approved Trainer and want to start teaching a course of at least 100 hours, AND would like to have your course accredited with the AHHCA = Education Provider
We offer many levels of membership to suit each stage of your career.

Full Member | A minimum of 100 hours of an AHHCA accredited or approved AHHCA course. Course may be a single or multiple modalities. |

Clinical Member | A minimum of 250 hours of an AHHCA accredited or approved course. Course may be a single or multiple modalities. |

Student Member | To be enrolled in an AHHCA accredited or approved course. (Enrolment must be current). |

Non-Practicing Member | Not currently practicing – must have previously been a practicing member |

Life Member | Granted to an individual who has been a full or certificate member of the association for 15 continuous years with a minimum of 5 of those years held in office. |

Associate Member | Anyone with an interest in holistic healing may join as an associate member. |
|
Affiliated Organisation | Organisations that clearly demonstrate their relationship to healing, body, mind and spirit.
Courses offered by an affiliated organisation can be used for Professional Development hours. |

- First Aid Certificate required if seeing in-person clients
Friend of AHHCA Memberships
Approved Trainer
- You must already hold an AHHCA Full or Clinical Membership
- You must have permission to teach modality or Government accredited teaching qualification
- You must be insured to teach
- Use of AHHCA Professional Seals
- Listing as an AHHCA Trainer
- Opportunity to get short courses approved and listed on our website
Education Provider
- $240 to join if you are not an AHHCA member, $50 upgrade for AHHCA Approved Trainers
- Suitable for training organisations or the next step if you are already an AHHCA Approved Trainer
- You must be insured to teach
- Use of professional AHHCA Seals
- Listing as an AHHCA Education Provider
- Opportunity to get Certificate and advanced Certificate Courses approved and listed on our website
